Reservations can be cancelled 48 hours prior to trip or rental time for full refund.

• If reservation is not cancelled within 48 hours of trip time
  then any remaining balance due will be charged at trip time.
• If Funkytown Adventure Centre cancels a trip because of weather or any other reason then a full refund will be given.

We aim to give to you the best possible day out but if weather conditions are deemed unsuitable we reserve the right to amend departure times and routes and alter trip prices. Occasionaly we may have to cancel your trip or rental. In such a case we can transfer you to another day, or offer a partial or complete refund depending on the circumstances.

Funkytown Adventure Centre reserves the right to cancel a trip for any reason; and we aim to let you know as soon as we can. The decision to cancel or change cannot be made by the customer without application to our policy. If we consider that the wind and sea conditions are unsafe for the trip, we will cancel on safety grounds. That is our decision and in that situation we will provide a full refund.

We sympathize that travel plans can vary, due to many different elements including illness, but we may have had to refuse customers based on the place being booked.

In the event of a “No show”, full payment of the trip will be required.

At funkytown.ie we respect your right to privacy. We will treat as confidential all of the personal information you give to us when you register with us using the facility on this website as it is protected by the Data Protection Act. This includes your name, address, email address, telephone contact number(s), gender and date of birth. The personal information given to us will be used to assist us in providing you with promotional material, including information about special offers, instore events and promotions, as well as providing you with information regarding the areas that you have indicated are of interest to you. We will contact you by email, post or telephone using the contact details given to us. In addition to the above, when a purchase is made on our site, we also ask for delivery address, contact phone number and payment method details. We may also obtain information about your usage of our Web site to help us develop and improve it further.

We will also send you email newsletters from time to time to inform you about our products, services, promotions and special offers from funkytown.ie You have a right at any time to request funkytown.ie to cease sending you promotional information and e-newsletters. Please enter your email address at the membership option on the home page of our website and choose the "unsubscribe" option or alternatively email info@www.funkytown.ie with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject title.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with any purchase order placed with us. Therefore if you wish to return an item for whatever reason you may contact us by email at info@www.funkytown.ie within seven days stating the reason for return. We do not offer a refund on products bought at discounted prices. These goods can only be returned for exchange or store credit. Goods can be returned for a full refund if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched. If the goods have been dispatched as ordered, they can be returned for a refund, but only for the cost of the goods if they have incurred a delivery charge. All returns must be organised within 21 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused and still have their original packaging and labelling attached. If you are returni ng any goods for exchange, we are no responsible for the carriage back to us or the postage back to you again, please consider this when changing your mind. Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. The card used for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount (less any delivery charge paid where appropriate.)

Footwear Returns
Any footwear returned to us must be in its original condition, including boxes.

Health and safety Conditions
Any items that we deem unhygienic will not be processed so please clean faulty goods if returning them.

Note
Please note that if items are returned you should ask for proof of postage from your post office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned. Any item bought online can also be returned to Funkytown within the terms and conditions of sale, just remember to bring along your receipt.

Shipping And Handling All prices exclude delivery. We try ensure our delivery service is as cheap and efficient as possible. All orders will be processed in 2 to 3 working days, or, in case of a problem, the customer contacted. Also depending on your order carriage may be free ! Please note that returns are the customers responsibility and are at the customers cost.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Your credit card will not be debited until the item has been dispatched. If we can not back order your goods, we will let you know.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy Funkytown does NOT disclose buyers information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
